Bright, light and comfortable 3 bedroom house with sunny conservatory garden room and enclosed sunny garden. The house is in a quiet location but within easy walking distance to shops and facilities of Dawlish, the beach, South West coast path with breath taking views, and the leisure centre with swimming pool and walking.

Wychwood house has been fully renovated, and has a stylish and modern open plan feel. Fully and well equipped kitchen, including 4-burner ceramic hob, electric oven, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Comfortable living area with plenty of sofas and arm chairs and modern gas fire.

We have now added a spacious and light garden room with dining table and chairs and large sofa.

Occupying a corner plot the house is surrounded by a sunny enclosed garden to the front, side and rear - safe for children and animals and ideal for a spot of lunch in the garden!

The house is situated just two minutes walk to the Dawlish Leisure Centre with swimming pool, playing fields and lots of day time activities! Surrounding the leisure centre is a beautiful open area with far reaching sea and countryside views - perfect for walking your dog or going for a quick jog!!

Just a few minutes walk to Dawlish beach, and from here the coastal walking / cycling path to Dawlish Warren or up towards Teignmouth. Follow the footpaths to the scenic port of Starcross.

At Starcross hop on the ferry for the short journey to Exmouth and enjoy a day out on the other side of the Estuary!

Or continue on to the wonderful grounds of Powderham Castle and along the Estuary to Exeter where you can hire canoes or kayaks!

Stop for a bite to eat or a refreshment on the way at one of the many pubs. 

Closer to home, just a few minutes walk to Dawlish centre: take a stroll down the picturesque lawn, along the brook to see the famous Dawlish black swans! Enjoy an ice cream under a palm tree, or treat yourself to a Devon cream tea in one of the cafes overlooking the pleasant lawns bordering the brook.

Enjoy shopping in the local butchers, baker and other independent shops, or Sainsbury's is less than 5 mins drive and also on the local bus route (stops close by)

Bring your bikes (or hire in Dawlish) and follow the scenic coastal cycle path along the coast and banks of river Exe. For those mountain biking enthusiasts, the extensive mountain bike trails on Haldon Hill are just a short drive away.

Take the scenic costal train to the University and Cathedral city of Exeter, or to Torquay and Paington, and all stops to Penzance. . 
The Torbay steam train puffs into Dawlish and Dawlish Warren throughout the summer.

This is an ideal spot for train spotters or bird watchers in the nature reserve of Dawlish Warren.

5 mins drive, or 1 stop on the train, to the seaside resort of Teignmouth - see the Grand pier, or catch the ferry across to Shaldon and explore Smugglers beach!

Easy day trips - 30 mins drive to Dartmoor and Haytor. 1-2 hours to North Devon/Cornish coast.
